Camera Upgrade?

Hey guys, time I think for an update.
I'm now well and truly started in college and I'm beginning to enjoy myself.
I have joined the photographic society and hope that it gets underway this week.

I am very much considering buying a camera coming up to christmas, in particular I'm eyeing up the eos 500d which is surprisingly affordable.
I think I may buy it in body only form and then try to get a nice 2nd hand lens to go with it.

Just want to know if you guys know anywhere that gives good deals on cameras online, I have bought from both amazon and ebay before and have been satisfied.
I've been surprised that it's nigh on impossible to get a price cheaper than one displayed on amazon-seeing as it acts as a front for other dealers.

Suggestions would be much appreciated!

Well deserved for a fantasrtic panorama, I can only imagine night time pans being incredibly hard to stitch.

Why? There is no fifference in stitching day and night panoramas :) Sometimes night panoramas like simple night shots need application of HDR technique. But this is quite easy: either you do it automatically in panorama stitching software (like PTGui) or you create several panoramic layers (with identical settings) and merge them using layer masks. Just a bit of practice and patience :D
